the art of being seen

The longer I've been behind a camera, the more I've realized that the photos I come back to aren't the technically perfect ones. They're the ones that make me feel something.

That's why I love both portraiture and festivals. On the surface they seem completely different, but to me they're really the same thing. They're both about people.

Whether we're creating something intentional together or you're completely lost in a moment with the music, I'm always looking for the real stuff. The laugh you didn't plan. The way you look at someone you love. The way a crowd moves together. The little moments that can't be recreated.

I don't want your photos to just show what something looked like. I want them to remind you what it felt like.
